Terrestris launches its own dedicated video platform
Terrestris Video is our own video platform, where we can present documentation of our projects. Terrestris Video is built on the fantastic French open and free software system PeerTube that aims to offer an alternative to the so-called ‘Big Tech’ platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, and others.

No annoying advertisements here, no algorithms that ‘recommend’ irrelevant content. Just content material, hand-selected, through which we want to give an impression of the projects we develop, and hopefully keep materials available for a longer period of time, for anyone who might be interested in them.
The first 25 videos are now available here (mid-September 2026). The bulk of the material is documentation of the first edition of the Green Heart Biennale, which took place from May 30 to June 21 on location in the Green Heart region of The Netherlands, in Gouda, Boskoop, Nieuwkoop and Gorinchem. Among others the complete conference The Design of Regeneration, and the program with storytellers Tales from the Swamp on the historic Reghthuysplein in Nieuwkoop are freely available there.
In addition, we also integrate materials from previous projects, such as the Zoöp DataFusion project from 2022, but also original works by artists, such as the EMF field recordings of Minji Kim in Gorinchem, or the poetic reflections on the Nieuwkoopse Plassen by Anne Zarske.
With PeerTube we have automatically become part of the Fediverse, a distributed coalition of organisations, individuals and servers that return to the original idea and ideal of the Internet: A connecting structure of and for people to share passions, interests, knowledge and involvement – simply because we think that is important.
We hope that we can develop this video platform much further in the near future and are actively looking for coalitions with other organisations and initiatives at the intersection of art, design and ecological concerns.
